Sewing Pattern Review: Eleanor Cardigan by KZJO'Studio

Hi again, everyone! Michelle from Falafel and the Bee here sharing a great beginner pattern with you!

I sewed up the Eleanor Cardigan for my teen. In fact, it was such a quick sew, that I sewed up two.

This one I made in a sweatshirt fleece. It was nice and sturdy to work with. The pattern has several options for length, and my daughter chose hip length with extra long sleeves for both versions. I love that extra long sleeves is even a choice (not that she has long arms, but she totally loves the slouchy comfortable fit).

I made the second out of this super soft, organic knit which was not as easy to work with, oh but that drape! So dreamy. I didn't finish the sleeves or the bottom because this stuff won't fray.

The only change to the pattern was moving the shoulders in just a bit because my daughter has extremely narrow shoulders.

It is a very relaxed fit which makes it super cozy. Perfect for this Fall weather!

She has actually requested another in sweater knit! I may have to make one for me too. If you are nervous about sewing with knits, this is a great project to get you started. The pattern even includes space for you to write your shopping list, and one to take notes in. Get the Eleanor Cardigan pattern now. And we'd love to see it when you make one!
