Meet...Karly of Paisley Roots Designs! Karly makes the most amazing clothes for her five kids. She loves to sew and her style is just the best! Keep reading to know more about her and her patterns.
Why do you sew?
I love being able to sew clothing that, most importantly, fits me and my kids and also because it lets me be creative while also being productive.
When did you started to sew? And what was your first make?
I started sewing when I was 20, shortly after my first child was born. My first make was some baby blankets for him.
When did you start to draft patterns? How was the learning process?
I honestly started drafting shortly after starting to sew trying to make clothing to fit my son.
What sewing machine do you own? Is it the machine of your dreams?
I own a Babylock Elizabeth sewing machine, Janome Mylock serger, and a Janome Coverpro coverstitch machine. I'm pretty well in love with these three!
What is on in the background while you're sewing?
Usually a kid show if we're being honest! If kids are all in bed, I usually sew in silence though. I don't get much of it!
