Brand Frocks & Frolics
Sew a lovely Lily tunic or top with help from this digital PDF sewing pattern and step-by-step video and photo tutorials.
This summer dress is an absolute stunner and comes in sizes 1-12. It’s cleverly cut with three decorative pleats in the front piece which disappear into a fitted little tunic which kicks out at the hem.
The back has a simple loop fastening but you can use the lower neckline option if that scares you and make the tunic or cropped top without a fastening.
I have also included the Megan pockets in this pattern, as they were in the older version too. Some testers have put them on, I personally preferred the tunic without. It’s there if you fancy putting pockets on.
The pattern offers four different length options: knee length, hip height, mid hip and short cropped waist height top. The detailed instruction booklet has two sets of instructions, one for the short version with loop fastening and a cute ribbon hem and a long version with hem trim and no fastening.
Take your pick and enjoy making a fashionable top your daughter will love. The detailed size chart for measurements and also finished size makes it easy to find the right fit for you.
And best of all you have the usual video support from start to finish. The videos cover an in depth look at the pattern, cutting out and the making of both tunics. As a bonus you also get instructions on how to make a shabby chic rose and delicate fabric roses for your decorations.
With so much support you can't go wrong. Whether you are an expert or just starting out the video tutorial will make it very clear what you have to do. If you are unsure if you can handle this pattern then simply watch the videos to reassure yourself before you purchase the pattern.
The pattern is available for immediate download so you can get started straight away.
None of my patterns are multi sized so there is one size per file, this saves a lot of paper and confusion as to which line you have to cut.
You’ll receive an email immediately after purchase with a link to download PDF files of the pattern and instructions, which you can print at home on either A4 or US Letter paper. When choosing the pattern make sure you tick which format you need. In the US and Canada choose US letter size which is wider and shorter than A4 paper. Everywhere else opt for A4 paper format.
