Pippa is a classy, uptown jacket oozing with style. Perfect for spring or fall and could be worn with a scarf on a mild winter day. The jacket features long sleeves with tab and button details at the wrist, a button up front, faux pockets adorned with buttons and a flirty peplum skirt. The bodice and sleeves are fully lined. Pippa can be made from lightweight wovens, corduroy, denim, chambray, fleece and even laminated cotton!
Sizes 2-12 for girls are included in the pattern.
The PDF pattern features computer drawn pattern pieces and cutting instructions for elements that are squares or rectangles. Pippa features full-color photographs and easy to follow instructions. Pattern pieces will need be printed on Letter or A4 paper and printer must be set to "no scaling".
Pippa is rated as an intermediate pattern. You will need to be comfortable with gathering, topstitching, pattern marking and buttonholes. No serger required!
Supplies needed: eight 5/8" buttons, fabric, interfacing (if using lightweight wovens), fabric, thread and basic sewing supplies. Rotary cutter, mat and ruler.
