Sweet Grace Ruffled Headband

This fun and versatile headband can be made for newborns through adults. Using up scraps and bits of leftover fabrics and trims, your only limitation on this pretty accessory is your imagination! Sewn up in less than an hour, this tutorial is perfect for any stage of sewist, from beginner to expert.
- Up to 3 coordinating fabric scraps with content consisting of quilter’s cotton, lace, knits, corduroy, velveteen, voile, satin, polysatin, burlap, tulle, mesh, millinery net, etc. Pieces must be at least 3”x10” (8 cm x25 cm).
- Trim: ric rac, Cluny lace, flat lace, ribbon, etc. Recommended width for piece is no greater than 1 1/2” (4 cm) and you will need 6”.
- ½ yard (1/2 meter) of Fold Over Elastic (FOE) or stretch lace.
- One large button or 3 smaller buttons (not recommended for babies or toddlers)
Notions: rotary cutter, ruler, and self-healing mat, scissors, needle, matching thread, sewing machine, iron, ironing board. Optional: pinking shears, serger, hemmer foot.
